Should get lots of inches done today

going with DH to a saltwater fishing show (his buddies that were to go with him - one is a new grandad yesterday and the other went skiing - forgot what weekend it was when he made reservations) so I will be sitting in the car all day. I am still too sick to actually go but I know DH was really looking forward to this and it is a bit of a drive that seems a LOT longer if you are alone. So I will bring my knitting some books, my iPod, a pillow and a blanket - and after I take my meds I know I will sleep. What fun - but it should be worth some stash in the future right??? Well at least some stash without too much complaints.....

Sorry you are ill, but totally understand the devotion that makes one travel with our loved ones so they won't be disappointed. Saw your comment at the Harlot: Have you considered painting everything in your own little space pink? My DH is most definately not a guy guy but he is very uncomfortable in that color room;)

I'm not sure I could do pink either - maybe purple - he hates that hehehe

I am beat - we spent 3 hours getting there - he spent 3 hours in the show (when I got a few more inches done) - and it took us over 4 hours to get home -- I swear I could have walked the Belt Parkway faster than we drove it. UGH!!

Definitely worth some stash in the future Rho. That was a long, tiring car ride.

Hope you feel better soon. How sweet of you to go with DH and just snuggle up in the car, knitting or not, it's not as comfy as the couch or bed.

Oh! I got the toes done up. They are on the blog now..

You`ll get lots of good knitting karma from such a selfless act, Rho. Your needles will be turbocharged and the knitting fairy will make sure you don`t make mistakes.

Plus it`s worth some stash, or dinner out. ;-)

Knitting, driving, fishing while sick!?!?

You are a better woman than me...(I?)...whatever, I couldn't do it.

Definitely builds up the old "you owe me" account....hee hee.
