To everyone that has asked

where I got the pattern for my sweater -- I wrote to the woman who made it up and hopefully will hear from her by the time I get back from vacation (will be back Tuesday) and I can tell you all where to get the pattern.

Off to pack.... VACATION isn't that a wonderful word (even when you are retired)

And you are bringing your sweater to Knitting Circle, aren't you? If you do, I'll tell you when my b'day is!

Re: your response to my comment on the Yarn Harlot's blog ("there must be a UPS or Fed Ex near Webs where you could pack up a shopping cart of yarn and send it home") -- so far I've managed to convince myself that the postage costs to ship heavy cones of yarn would eat a significant chunk of the savings. Please don't burst my little delusion bubble! LOL

Once I did try to bring home a separate carry on full of coned 10/2 cotton for dish towels, and some (expletive deleted) schmuck stole it. Doubt they wanted the yarn, but just grabbed the bag hoping it was something good. Figured it was the universe trying to tell me something (like maybe I have too much yarn already? Nah...)

Got your comment. I actually got lucky today - Neatnik went to play with grandma so I was home alone all afternoon - prime stitching time!

Got your comment - if you want to work out a swap for a sock bag, just let me know - I am really flexible.
