Your dinner cost HOW MUCH???

Was talking to a friend tonight and he was saying that he and his dear wife decided to go out for dinner tonight - they went to a little place a couple of towns over from us and had ...... 1 beer, 1 margarita, split an appetiser, he had soft tacos and she had fajitas no dessert nothing else to drink - so how much should that have been ......................................................................
$100 plus tip!!!! I asked if the dinner was made with Kobe beef at least. I'm sorry but that is just plain ridiculous.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have a post with pictures - I misplaced my cord to get pictures from the camera to the computer -- and haven't felt good enough to try to figure out where I put it (somewhere totally logical I am sure which is why I can't remember it right now) hehehe

Insanity!

Even more mindboggling is the thought that people are willing to put out that kind of money for an inexpensive dinner, unless the bulk of the money was going to a worthy charity.

Gee that's a lot of dough for a taco and fajitas. Was the whole dancing troupe entertaining that night? Folklorico?

I hope you are getting well, darlin, but October 6th is a long time ago.

Good grief. No wonder I don't go out for dinner too much anymore.

Thanks for the comments on my blog! The yarn you liked is "Holi," named after the Festival of Colors in India, which is the Hindu celebration of Spring. Part of the celebration involves the throwing of brightly colored dye powders and paints on everyone you meet in the street, and the colors brought that to mind...
